What?
Motion Picture Offering(MPO) happens when a established filmmaker makes an application on feni to offer their movie for public funding.
How?
As the executive creator fill the MPO application there are important questions to clarify project details for potential future backers. As the funding campaign hits the market the result is based on a all-or-nothing model which means that the creator must collect the full budget to progress for a production plan. The choice of how many days a campaign runs and which currency the creator accept is the choice of the creator. If the funding campaign is successful- the creator can start their production and the public backers gets their ownership in the project justified by Motion Picture Credits(MPC) which can be found under the section MPC-holding in a members feni account. From here the backers can buy and sell these MPCs on the market as a digital commodity. If the funding campaign fails- the public backers gets their failed credits saved back in their wallet at feni to try supporting a new project or to buy MPCs from a already existing project on the market.Â
