Synopsis

In the misty town of Landour, Saumen, a reclusive librarian, lives a life of strict order and solitude. When Chitra, a traveler from the city, begins visiting his library, their shared silences become the language of connection. As monsoon clouds gather, their companionship deepens, not through words, but through small acts of care and mutual understanding. After a quiet marriage, Saumen’s inner struggle with intimacy tests their bond. But through Chitra’s patience, and the rhythm of everyday life, he learns to open his heart. By the film’s end, two people who once lived in separate silences now share one calm, listening world.

In the mist-covered hill town of Landour, where clouds drift through narrow streets and time feels slower than the rest of the world, life moves in quiet rhythms. At the heart of this peaceful isolation stands a small, aging library, filled with yellowed pages, wooden shelves, and the hush of forgotten stories. It is here that Saumen has built his life, protected by silence and routine, until the arrival of Chitra, a city traveler seeking refuge from noise, unknowingly brings warmth into a world that has long been emotionally closed.
